Elizabeth Lake is located just on the Illinois Wisconsin line north of Richmond. The colors were finally turning and I looked forward to bringing out my tube of Indian Yellow. This scene begins with spots of white and purple asters, moving out into groves of cattails, and beyond towards the lake and its reflections of a cool fall sky. I will need to return to this site to capture the abundant meadows filled with a neverending grouping of white, lilac, purple asters, golden rod, and yellow daisy-like flowers. The dynamics between the gold and purple is one not to missed! sold
