On a recent Trip to Arizona I had the wonderful experience of painting and learning with some of the members of the Plein air Painters of America in Scottsdale. The colors out west make one either want to create new color charts or make a mad dash to the art store to buy new colors! Red rocks combined with a dusty sage grey are two of my favorite combinations.
